Got no time left for yourself? Need to sort out your time as a student with hobbies, jobs and chores to do as well as keeping some time for yourself? Read on about how to do it...
STEPS
1.Sit down, and make a list of things that you need to devote part of your time to. This can include walking the dog, sports clubs, or even just a chore that you need to remember like feeding a pet.
2.Get a sheet of paper and put 7 columns and two rows on it - the first row for the name of the day, the second for what needs doing on that day.
3.Decide when each thing should be. If you have a certain day for, say, playing tennis or vacuuming the house, write that in the box for each day. Something that can be done any day of the week can be left til last, so that when you've filled in decided events, you can put that in a day which doesn't have as many 'things-to-do' in it.
4.Allocate a time span to each thing you've listed. It doesn't need to be a certain time, but just how long you should spend doing it. Make sure that you can stick to that amount of time. For instance, if there is a double bill of your favourite TV show on, if you know that you'll watch both episodes anyway, don't write down that you will only watch one.
5.Decide what order you shall complete those jobs/hobbies in. Leave free time til last, so that you can properly relax about how you have finished everything you need to do for that day.
TIPS
Don't stick to your schedule too closely, it's just a guide - your life shouldn't be extraordinarily structured - you need to live a little!!
